The 5th International Congress of CiiEM on “Reducing Inequalities in Health and Society” will be focused on subjects related to the Sustainable Development Goal 10, such as Personalized Health, Innovative Health and Care Industry, Infectious Diseases and Health Improvement, the Role of the Environment including Climate Change for Health and Wellness and the Digital Health Transformation.
Our aim is to bring together scientists and civil society organizations to debate current societal changes and challenges. We are sure that, as in previous congresses, communications will foster learning and inspiration and will allow the discussion of ideas.
The CiiEM is the Research centre of Egas Moniz – Cooperativa de Ensino Superior CRL. The Centre is one of the priorities of the Cooperative and represents a nucleus of innovation and knowledge creation. It fosters a paradigm of translational research and teaching in collaboration with other functional structures of Egas Moniz. It also focuses strongly on community interactions in different contexts, including health, health-related sciences and social services.
